Your Road.

Okay folks; you’ve heard my limited angle on internet promotion for emerging musicians. Now I’m interested to hear from YOU, be you an emerging musician, promoter, blogger, website designer for a musical act, networker etc on what avenues that you have found to be benificial & ergonomic.0681

Your nationality, musical genre, age and so forth are all part of this. Diversity of opinion is actively encouraged.

Feel free to share any personal experiences but please try to avoid gross negativity. Objective commentary carries much more weight.

Do you know any success stories or ‘how to’ advice on what NOT do do? All relevant opinions are more than welcome. Even if I don’t glean anything I have no doubt that there’s someone out there that will…..and remember, this is all about music AND internet promotion.

  1. This is great Bob. Really informative for anyone involved in the music industry or wanting to get involved as well as your fans..
My late husband was a musician and my youngest son is going to a music school and learning the guitar and other aspects of the industry and has received his certificate 2 in music industry. I would like to be more involved in some way other than fan base but dont have any real experience in music or behind the scenes stuff so not much use in that…lol
    Keep up the great work

I personally use, Revebnation, ilike, soundclick, bebo, facebook, myspace, garageband and a couple of ‘ning social networking sites’ exposure is the key, but time management is a biggi too… you have to actually login to these sites, and regularly. Cheers Barry.
